Most Precious Blood is in trouble…again. The artwork for upcoming album Merciless (Trustkill 9/20/05) has both U.S. distributor RED and European licensor, Roadrunner ready to shelve the album. “We had no idea this would happen…this time.” Swears Justin Brannan (guitarist/co-lyricist) Merciless cover features an authentic looking corpse in an apartment with his mail stacking up. “It's real life, it’s someone our age that just dies and no one cares enough to notice.” Such is MPB assessment of life today. “We’ve got World War 3 going on; we have no time for poetry and...(read full bio)

| UPCOMING RELEASE “Do Not Resuscitate” CD |
Spring 2010 |
Brooklyn's favorite hardcore workhorses MOST PRECIOUS BLOOD will hit The Wild Arctic this Spring to record their 4th full length album. At the helm will be Dean Baltulonis, responsible for the last two MPB albums.
Guitarist Justin Brannan says of the new material, "While all our spineless contemporaries reach for the stars we've returned to our roots. The new songs are short, fast, hard and mean. We wrote an album to remind us of the stuff we grew up on; the music that got us into hardcore when we were teenagers. We harnessed that raw energy and power; the unbridled passion of those days at CBGB's and basements and VFW Halls across the country, sleeping on concrete floors and shoplifting for fun; back when it felt like you were really part of something different. We've checked the rock n' roll ambitions and delusional fantasies at the door and wrote a hardcore record like only we knew how." |
